Join us for a free screening of the Pilot for the new web series Lost In Moldova, hosted by local filmmaker Kris Dyson.

Local South Florida filmmakers, writers and lovers of all things streaming are invited to this viewing party. You'll not only learn about the country of Moldova but you'll also be part of the conversation on writing and producing a web series. We'll have a filmmaker Q&A at the end, and you'll leave knowing why this short form is so popular with streaming audiences that it just may be the future of television.

What It's About: Diego joins the Peace Corps in a last-ditch effort to win back his ex-girlfriend. He imagines exotic, tropical locales, and instead he finds himself "Lost in Moldova," one of the poorest countries in Eastern Europe. Follow his misadventures as he navigates the cultural differences that divide us and the shared humor and humanity that unites us.

Lost in Moldova is an official comedy selection in the 2019 Stareable Fest, a 3-day web series and independent television festival in New York. It has also been featured at the Berlin Web Fest, the UK Web Fest and the upcoming Hague Global Cinema Festival in the Netherlands.
